First, I love this netbook. It is built, looks great and has a better keyboard, whatever I saw .. Battery life is okay.
And now the problem. Touchpad is too sensitive. You must be very careful how you finger on it to avoid clicking on premature. This is definitely a design flaw are countless references to this problem online. Too bad, because it would rate this machine as 5 otherwise. Toshiba notebooks are 5 years, which is built like a tank and still works well, so I bought this netbook and less expensive than other primates. Toshiba will hopefully solve this problem.

I bought this system to lighten the load when traveling. Once I took it to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate (using a USB external DVD). Upgrading Windows 7 went well and I have not had any problems with significant pilot as I can remember. Then I went to South America for a week with her. He was great in airports, so small and lightweight. Wireless connectivity has been very good, especially my subscription with Boingo. No problem in South America with the hotel LAN. Also, I used every night for Skype video calls with my wonderful family. It worked very well! The only problem is that the reduced battery life is a bit 'less after upgrading to Windows 7. I would buy another in a Hearbeat!

Perhaps J. Welch and many others have had great luck with this netbook, but my experience was a disaster, with a number of other countries, then I found out. Quality control in the manufacture of ASUS netbooks are nonexistent. From the beginning, (my netbook I've had for a week), is allowed to slow start-up, keys that stick (which require a shutdown and restart), the size of the text and characters that change at will , and e - mail disappear when you hit backspace while entering an outgoing message. (This review was written from the desktop computer in a hotel, when there is a probability of 75% which was written on my Asus Eee - I will ship back to Amazon Monday - e-mail will be gone) This truth The netbook is hell!

Does not need to install up to 2 GB memory upgrade, because I used XP, and ran especially Firefox, Microsoft Office, iTunes, video, etc. If you are going to play, Photoshop, Windows 7 Ultimate or other heavy duty applications and then run the 'Upgrading to 2 GB of RAM. | ||
