AC / DC power adapter / cable stopped working after about 2 weeks. I first tried the Internet service to customers the RMA request unanswered. Then I called customer service. I just spent over an hour on the phone trying to get my power cord replaced. They have so many requests for Powercords are back ordered. I was told that it could be a month before he would be able to send another vessel. Are now poised to return 1005HA on Amazon, because I do not want to wait a month for my computer running. Usually your iPad should work as you might expect but sometimes things do not go the way you want, such as the display stops responding or the device will not turn on. When such irritating things happen you can do the following:

1. Restarting: turn the device off and then turn it on again, by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button on top of the device for a few seconds, until you see the red slider appearing. Then slide the slider to turn the device off. Wait five seconds and then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears. The device is on now.
